Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes mix
  • Ingredients called for on the Kodiak package usually eggs, milk, and/or water
  • 8 fully cooked chicken sausage links sliced
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Maple syrup for serving optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Prepare the Kodiak pancake batter according to package directions.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together: Kodiak batter, 6 eggs, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Stir in sliced chicken sausage and half the shredded cheese.
  5. Pour mixture into the baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until the center is set and lightly golden.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.

Need variation?

  • Make it sweet & savory by skipping garlic powder and black pepper. Instead, add 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1 tbsp maple syrup to the batter.
  • Add veggies: Finely diced onion or a handful of spinach can get you a boost of nutrients.
  • Add 1/2 cottage cheese to the batter for additional protein.
