Taco night sounds great until someone cries because the tortilla broke, the cheese touched the beans, or the dog ran off with dinner. This Taco Bowl for Tiny Humans keeps everything simple, customizable, and toddler-approved while giving tired parents a dinner that comes together in minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup canned corn drained
  • 1 cup canned black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes optional
  • 1 avocado diced (optional)
  • Plain Greek yogurt or sour cream for serving

Method
 

  1. Brown the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Drain excess grease if needed.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and 2–3 tablespoons water. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Warm the rice, corn, and black beans.
  5. Divide rice between four bowls.
  6. Arrange small piles of taco meat, cheese, corn, beans, tomatoes, and avocado around the rice.
  7. Add a small dollop of Greek yogurt or sour cream.
  8. Serve with a toddler spoon or let older toddlers eat with their fingers.
